ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in the southern part of Germany, where I also attended university to get my degree in architecture (Dipl. Eng. of Architecture).
There I worked for several years for two architectural offices as an architect, mostly on residential projects.
In 1998 I immigrated to Canada, where I joined my sister and family in the Muskoka Region/Ontario.
My first position in Canada was with a Log Home company in Parry Sound, where I worked as an architectural technologist.
Over the past 23 years I worked in several architectural companies, where I gained substantial experience in institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential projects (new, additions and renovations). I was also in charge of colour and material selections, and coordination for all the different projects, which is one of my favourite parts in the entire planning and construction process.
During those years I also attended several building code courses and successfully wrote the exams in those. I have my BCIN Certification in House and Small Buildings, as well as the Legal Part.
